Psilocybin is a mind-altering substance found in some types of mushrooms, often called magic mushrooms. Psilocybin is currently being researched for its potential to help with many mental health issues, and has been used for more than 1000 years in ritual ceremonies around the world. While there are many different types of mushrooms that contain psilocybin, for all state-regulated journeys, we will work exclusively with psilocybin products sourced from psilocybe cubensis mushrooms that are lab-tested for purity and potency.

Many people prefer to work with psilocybin in a regulated environment to reduce the risk of negative experiences and improve the chance of positive outcomes. Following the requirements set by Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) branch of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), a licensed facilitator will help you through the process of journeying with psilocybin and be a reliable source of knowledge and support. A regulated psilocybin journey will consist of at least one preparation session, an administration session at a licensed service center, and at least one integration session, if desired.

I have been using psilocybin for my mental health and personal growth for over 10 years, and I am truly passionate about this work. I want to make sure everyone who needs it has access to this potentially life-changing experience, and I strive to create a schedule and a cost structure that fit your needs. Total costs are dependent on service center and how much support is required. I go over a full cost breakdown on my pricing sheet, which you can find linked on my Services and Pricing page. Generally, a standard journey with Age of Aquarius will cost around $2500 including service center and psilocybin costs. I understand that this is a significant expense. If this price is out of your budget, please do not hesitate to let me know. I am happy to offer payment plans and/or reduced fees without judgement. Service center and psilocybin costs are out of my control, but I am happy to work with you to try to find a service center that meets your financial needs.

Psilocybin itself is still classified as a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). However, journeying with psilocybin alongside a licensed facilitator at a licensed service center is legal in the state of Oregon. Age of Aquarius assumes no legal responsibility by providing psilocybin facilitation services to you, and has no contact with psilocybin itself. The psilocybin for your journey will be purchased directly from, and consumed in front of, a permitted service center worker at a licensed service center. I am happy to address your questions about this process during an introductory call prior to booking your facilitation package.

When used in a regulated environment with proper preparation and integration, psilocybin is very safe! There are often some physical side effects during the journey such as nausea and headache, but these typically resolve fairly quickly. As far as the mental and emotional effects, these are different for everyone and every journey! During preparation, I will go over what to expect from a psilocybin journey and address any concerns you might have.

Psilocybin has been reported to be helpful with many mental health issues as well as deepening one’s relationship with themselves and with the world around them. It has the potential to help you with a wide range of needs, but it is not for everyone. If you have been diagnosed with or treated for active psychosis, have taken the prescription drug Lithium within the past 30 days, or are having thoughts of causing/wanting to cause harm to yourself or others, you are not eligible to participate in psilocybin services, both for regulatory and safety reasons. I am happy to address generalized psilocybin information during an introductory call, and/or discuss your specific needs in detail during a purchased preparation session.
